Gary Frost

A graduate of Mount Union College, Central Bible College, and Ashland Theological Seminary, Gary Frost has pastored in both Youngstown, Ohio and Brooklyn, New York for a total of 23 years. He has been actively engaged in the work of the Southern Baptist Convention for many years, having served as president of the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, second vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and most recently as Vice President of the Midwest Region and Prayer for the North American Mission Board. While in New York City, Gary served as Executive Director of the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association as well as President of Concerts of Prayer Greater New York.

 

Gary and his wife of 39 years, Lynette, have been blessed with 5 sons and a daughter as well as grandparents of 6 grandchildren, and have fostered more than 40 other children. One special passage of scripture that provides clear ministry guidance for Gary’s kingdom service is Matthew 9:37-38 as Jesus says to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
