While pastoring in the early 80s, Dave was rocked by newly published data that revealed a world only half reached with the Gospel. From that time forward his ministry began to increasingly reflect God’s heart for thrusting out a new wave of missionaries to the unreached peoples of the world.

By 1989, and burdened to see churches awakened and mobilized for mission, Dave founded the Orange County Mission Mobilization Network and joined the staff of the U.S. Center for World Mission (USCWM). During his eleven years at the Center, Dave served as USCWM Regional Offices Coordinator, later directed the Center’s Adopt-A-People Campaign and edited the Mission Mobilizer’s Handbook and Vision for the Nations curriculum.

In 2000, Dave transitioned to Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment (ACMC) with a heart for encouraging citywide mission networking and the identification of key mission mobilization resources on the web for assisting local churches in their missions’ involvement.

In 2008 Dave was invited to join the Mission America Coalition team to serve alongside John Quam as Associate National Facilitator for MAC’s Global Connections. His current involvement also includes overseeing MAC’s Global Ministries and City & Community Ministries web sites and serving the Diaspora Mission Mobilization sphere of LOVE2020.

Dave and his wife, Fawn, live in Southern California and have one married daughter, Beckie.
