CAFO “Small Matters” (Orphans & Foster Care) – both Virtual & In-Person

David Imboden

With the fresh uptick in COVID, large gatherings may not be possible in September. So CAFO is seizing the opportunity to go small. On September 10 & 11, CAFO2020 will take new shape! Rather than traveling to Dallas, you’ll have the chance to join with others in your region — either virtually or in-person — with local events across the country and global network events in countries worldwide.

Thursday, September 10 will include focused interactive intensives for parents, organization leaders, advocates and more — all virtual.

Friday, September 11 will include small groups gathering by region (both virtually and in-person) for the live CAFO-wide SMALL MATTERS event followed by afternoon deep-dive tracks.

She Loves Out Loud – National Live Simulcast

David Imboden

Gather with a million women across America as we pray for the healing of wounded hearts; for the future of our children; for God and His Word to be honored in our nation. Help us build communities of prayer.

Stand Sunday

David Imboden

Each November on Stand Sunday, Christians across the U.S. stand for children and families in foster care.

Stand Sunday, a counterpart to the global event, Orphan Sunday, is an initiative of the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO). As thousands of events echo across the globe, at CarePortal and The Global Orphan Project, we invite you to stand with us and claim this opportunity to rouse your church, community and friends to God’s call to care for the most vulnerable in your own community.

The Refresh Conference (Foster Parenting) – Redmond, WA

David Imboden

We understand what it’s like to raise kids who come from traumatic pasts. We know firsthand what it’s like to make the sacrifices. To be weighed down with shame and sheer exhaustion. We know. We are right there with you. That’s why we started Refresh back in 2011.

Some people say Refresh shouldn’t be called a conference because it really is more of an experience. And you know what? They might be right. So, call it whatever you want, but just come and check it out.
